Review: ECO. Body Wash Tropical Mango & Argan Oil

I dunno I've been really lazy with posting ever since school started sorrrrry.
I was post midterm shopping the other day, what caught my eye was this ECO. body wash, mainly because it was on the top shelf in all different colors.

Comes in 4 flavors, Grapefruit and rosehip oil, green apple and aloe vera, tropical mango and argon oil, coconut + sea minerals.

They all smelled really good and I couldn't really decide which to buy but the lady beside me was like get tropical mango and argon oil I got it last week and it works really well, so that's what I ended up buying. I got in for 5.99 (cad) before tax at marshalls, the price differs from where your buying it.

First of all I have to say it smells divine, in the product description it says that "If summer had a fragrance this would be it."  And I couldn't agree more. My roommate picked it up and thought it was a drink.

And I really don't have anything bad to say about it at the moment, it smells good, it's fresh and compare to the bath and body works one I was using for the past month I would pick this over it any day.

Review : Maybelline CC cream

So this just came out a few days ago and I was like why not give it a try? So I did.
It's Maybelline's new pure mineral CC cream (Core & Correct). I think one thing I love about CC creams is that it's an all in one. It's kind of a foundation, concealer, and SPF, and as I mentioned before a great product for someone in a hurry to go out, lazy like me or if you live in a very very hot place like me again.
You put on one layer, kind of like the BB cream, but it's everything. It's very light if you ask me, well since it's one layer, but it works well. The Maybelline CC cream is pretty nice cause it doesn't make my face feel very heavy or oily after applying, and it remains fresh throughout the whole day. The only thing I dislike about this product is that it's white when you squeeze it out, and gradually turns into a brownish shade. I have a darker skin tone so if I don't blend it out well or if I miss a part it becomes obvious on my face.

Review : LancĂ´me CILS BOOSTER XL Super-Enhancing Mascara Base

Hm so I quite like this haha <3
Well I don't know if it's because I'm Asian but I have super short eyelashes and plus they are nowhere  near thick so I use this booster to make my eyelashes longer and thicker before I appy mascara.
It's white when you first apply on to your lashes. After that I apply mascara on and it makes my lashes look thicker and longer. But even with this I still wear like 2 or 3 layers of mascara since my lashes are so short.
To be honest I can't live without these on my lashes it's a bit pricy but I think it's way cheaper then fake lashes and constantly keeps my lashes looking wonderful :)

Review : Batiste Dry Shampoo

I can't believe I've never tried this!! It's absolutely amazing!!
After using the product it feels like I just got out of the shower and dried my hair.
I used to be the type of person that washed my hair everyday, and I didn't think I would need such a product. But I'm almost done with my first can and I'm sure I'll go for a second one.
It comes in different scents and different sizes, the smaller ones are really convenient you can just put one in your purse and if your hair get's oily throughout the day it's right there to fix it!
The product is white powder, I have to brush my hair thoroughly to let the white fade since I have really dark hair. But overall this has just been a lifesaver and I don't have to worry about not having time in the morning when I sleep in.

Review : The NARSissist Cheek Kit

The NARSissist Cheek kit includes three cheek products– a limited edition shimmery peachy pink highlighter, orgasm blush, and laguna bronzer.

I think the biggest plus side for this kit is that it's very small about the size of an iphone, it's a great travel size. The product size is a bit small though if you have it for a everyday use.

The product is pretty good it has good pigmentation. The highlighter is really lovely I wish they sold this separately. If you already have full sized laguna bronzer & Orgasm blush then I would suggest not to buy this palette.

Review : CLINIQUE Even Better Essence Lotion for Combination Oily to Oily

This is the Clinique even better essence lotion for skin type 3,4 which is for more oily skin types. The product also comes in 1,2 for very dry skin types.
I went for skin type 3,4 since I have a more oily skin type.

This product targets 3 corrections hydrate, brighten and calm. It's gel like and has a light texture. It leaves your skin feeling soft and comfortable, it's easy to use and doesn't make your skin feel sticky. The product really did hydrate my skin leaving it feeling really nice.

Overall I would say the product is really good but I wouldn't say I would buy it the next time I see it because I already have too many products part of my skin care routine.

May Favorites

It's only mid May but there are so many things i'm loving this month so I decided to make my May favorites already (:

1. Kate Spade Thermal Mug  (18$)

I just love the color of this. My favorite color is red and the caption is cute. It's sealed really tight so it doesn't spill from the edges and it's just convenient and adds color to me when I hold it.

2. L'Oreal Paris Color : Smell the Roses (5.99$)

It's a very rich color like the brand advertises, it's a perfect color for spring and summer. And the color looks good with any skin tone. I've been using this color for the past 3 weeks altering with dozen of roses.

3. L'Oreal Paris Color : Dozen red Roses (5.99$)

It's also a very rich color, more vibrant and fresh looking.

4. Garnier Duo Clean Whitening + Oil control (12$)

This I just love the feeling of it after I wash my face, I use everyday.
Link below is the review I wrote on it before

5&6. 1028 brush and CC cream ( around 25$ for both)

These I love also I use everyday. The brush is super soft, I think any type of skin would be able to use it. The CC cream too is for any color skin type it's just really easy to apply and very fast.
Link below is the review I wrote on it before
7. Too Faced Natural Eye Neutral Eye shadow collection (36$)

It contains 9 neutral shades and a how-to guide to help you achieved the looks. It's a small palette very portable. The colors are super nice, very pigmented and long lasting. It's very competitive to the Urban Decay Naked basic. I also love that it is an everyday use palette, would highly recommend people to buy this palette. Review thumbs up a 5/5.

8. Marc by Marc Jacobs Dynamite Metal Eye studs (55$)

I fell in love with these the moment I saw them and HAD to have them. They are super cute and fun looking adds an edge to any outfit you are wearing.

9. Illume Desert Tulip scent (14$)

It's a really light flower scent. I'm very picky with scents but I think this scent smells really wonderful that I got the same scent of hand cream with it. The packaging is also super pretty and colorful and reminds me of spring and summer.

10. Britney Spears : Perfume

I've been listening to this song everyday and I'm still not sick of it. I guess it's the lyrics, something that every person who's ever been a relationship can sort of relate to.

All the prices may vary from different places, but most of the items are all super affordable :)
